In January 2025, I made what seemed like a simple decision: Run every day for 100 days. No exceptions. It was meant to be preparation for Interclub. A physical challenge. But it turned into something much deeper.
Just two weeks later, my entire world changed: My partner passed away—suddenly and unexpectedly.
Running through the Pain
What began as a discipline for the body became a lifeline for my soul. It was no longer about fitness or performance. It was about survival. About not drowning in grief. About finding structure in the midst of chaos. About holding on—when everything felt like it was falling apart.
No one asked me:
“Did you run today?” “How are you holding up?”
There was no check-in. No reminders. No outside encouragement. Only me. Alone with my grief. Alone with my promise.
A Daily Battle
Every day, I had to choose: Do I get up, or stay in bed? Do I move forward, or give up?
There were runs where the tears came faster than my steps. But I kept going. Step by step. Run by run. One hundred times.
What I Know Today
Today, on Day 100, I look back and realize: I’m stronger than I ever imagined. And the most important promise you’ll ever make— is the one you make to yourself.
What I’ve Learned
➡️ We show up for others without question. ➡️ But do we show up for ourselves—when no one is watching? ➡️ Are you important enough to yourself?
Today, I am. And so are you. ❤️
Because sometimes the bravest thing we can do is not give up when no one is watching— but keep showing up for ourselves, day after day.
💬 Are you facing grief, change, or a new beginning—and feeling like you’re on your own?
I support people who don’t want to lose themselves when life breaks them open. If you’re longing for someone to walk beside you—with empathy, honesty, and without judgment:
